grett122 Kidney-leaved Grass of Parnassus (Parnassia grandifolia) is one of the most beautiful flowers found in North Carolina, with lines drawn onto it that almost make it seem as if it is made of stained glass. This plant only occurs in the mountains of the Southeastern United States and grows in bogs and seepage slopes. I don't think anyone has done any surveys to determine the impact of Hurricane Helene on their populations, but I hope that they are all doing ok.
