Kidney-leaved Grass of Parnassus (Parnassia grandifolia) is one of the most beautiful flowers found in North Carolina, with lines drawn onto it that almost make it seem as if it is made of stained glass. This plant only occurs in the mountains of the Southeastern United States and grows in bogs and seepage slopes.
