Aha! I appreciate the research, but I actually used Lightroom to adjust the B&W blend (I was mainly focusing on the shadow and just trying to "control" the grain to be not too distracting). I use Pixelmator Pro to export JPEGs because my workflow is very weird so I won't get into it.
