While travelling in Croatia, I have spotted many abandoned houses along the roads and in some reclusive areas and found myself fascinated by them. I always wonder what it was like before the house came to be abandoned. What is the story behind it? Who owns it now if any one still owns it? Was there a sudden turn of events that forced people to leave? Or was it gradual? I’ll never know and this is what makes the whole thing fascinating.
