This makes me so sad. 🥺 But the symbol resonates deeply with me. As a horrified spectator from afar, this is what comes to mind when I see or read what's happening in the States. As you said though, there are good people, and you stick together and empower each other. You're not your administration, and good will prevail! ✊

It’s complicated, I think. We are not this administration, but this administration exists because enough USians support it and the rest allowed it to happen. The horrors we’re seeing now are not just because of one man or one party. White supremacy runs deep and there’s a lot of rot to excavate, going all the way back to the nation’s founding (and in truth all Western nations need to do some soul-searching as well).
