Me too, me too!! I had no idea the #aurora was out tonight until our village chat group lit up! This is the very first time I've ever seen the Northern Lights – what a dream come true! 🤩🥹 At first, there were just faint green smudges flickering in and out of the night sky, followed by a soft red tint. I ended up standing in the garden for half an hour in my dressing gown, trying to capture it all on camera. Unsurprisingly, my phone did a better job than the camera at bringing out the colours, because I have no idea what I'm doing. 😅 The first image is from my phone, the second is from the camera. In the first, I've silhouetted the houses for privacy.
