@JimmyB@mas.to Same! It's so unique :) I'm no expert, but when I had a closer look, it looked like grafting to my untrained eye. My guess is Lycianthes rantonnetii, also known as the blue potato bush (as a nightshade plant it's related to potatoes).

@meoralis sadly the local nursery who said they’d got this plant in both colours didn’t in fact: they’ve got the potato vine, solanum jasminoides- which I’m sure is lovely but won’t be capable of grafting I assume…

@JimmyB@mas.to Oh no, bummer! Maybe they can order it for you? There must be some nurseries where you can order online? I found a nursery in Germany that has it (€20, not too bad!), but it does look like they're shipping to the UK. There may be others though!
