@walli@pixelfed.de Walter, this is funny! We used to be the family of five, then four, now it’s just the two of us. I don’t cook a lot but I cook every day. It has become a form of therapy in this day and age. Actually, I cook for four — two dinners and two lunches for the next day.😍

Julia, I admire you and at the same time I'm a little jealous of those (now only one person besides you, as you write) who get to eat delicious food every day. It's not that I don't cook. When I do, it shouldn't take longer than 45 minutes to prepare.

You know, maybe because I grew up behind the iron curtain predominantly on potatoes and cabbage, food is interesting to me but not only from the point of view of eating. There are aspects of culture, science in it. There is art. Although I am an artisan rather than artist. Also, I guess I like doing things with my hands like sewing, building, painting. And I LOVE watching people eat what I make — the most satisfying gratifying feeling.
