Constructed in 1945, no-one is quite sure who commissioned the Kyūtei Omuro (旧邸御室) or what purpose it served. The sukiya-style (数寄屋造り) mansion sits in a sprawling 1655m2 parcel of land, and given its proximity to Ninna-ji (仁和寺) many believe there was a connection.
