Thanks! I'd actually intended for this one to be a dark woods at night; the abandoned town just sort of happened, and as with a lot of these drawings, I didn't think of adding the witch until maybe 20 minutes before I was done with it.
So it sounds like a haphazard creation, but I think a lot of these do come from a larger subconscious plan. Many are based on places I wish I was—you've probably noticed I tend to draw remote places a lot. Soaring over an abandoned town in the dead of night is definitely something I wish I could do.
@csilverman I can relate to that too, the subconsious since many of my photos are just that. Art can really learn a lot about oneself if you are willing to "listen".
