So a quick update on something I wrote about last month... It appears the failed and recently shuttered Westfield Mall / San Francisco Centre has been rescued. A pair of local developers won the bid and purchased the massive, defunct mall for 10 cents on the dollar. Rumor has it they plan to redevelop the mall into a mix of housing, office, and some retail. Fingers crossed they save the old Emporium dome atop the eastern side of the mall. Speaking of which, from my Lightroom archives, here's a picture I took in December 2009 of that grand old dome. @bbamok Thanks :) I liked it because it was very 3D-ish. For some reason I was shooting at f/1.4 that day, something I rarely do but need to do more often.
