The goal in privatizing the USPS is to make sending regular mail unaffordable to the point most communication occurs online, not in real life. While the public recognizes mail is a service to the public that is not supposed to be for profiteering, the cheeto admin doesn't care that the costs of online services to the poor & elderly are far in excess of sending & receiving mail.
