Yeah it's not the nicest feeling :) Lucily both the socks and the inshoe of the winter boots are of wool, so they keep reasonably warm even when soaking wet.

I have no idea how long it takes for the boots to dry, this is the first time I've managed to soak them :D I hope they dry fast with the inner shoe taken out to dry separately so I can use them again tomorrow but we'll see
