In Chile, my husband @daniel@mstdn.degu.cl and I had the tradition of celebrating New Year's Eve far from the cities. We would pack our backpacks and set off on foot for hours, in the rain, until we reached a natural viewpoint. There, one of the most beautiful glaciers in the country awaited us.
