In my distant homeland, Chile, the Mapuche people celebrate We Tripantu, or Mapuche New Year, today. This is a photo my husband @daniel@mstdn.degu.cl took of me at sunrise in Hornopirén National Park. The morning dew shines with the sun's rays, the mist bathes the earth with its blanket of steam, energies are renewed, and a ray of light is reborn from the womb of the earth.
