I just got visit Bodiam Castle in October of 2024. It is beautiful and so well preserved! I would love to come there during the summer time when they have the cafe open with the view of the castle.

Somehow the overcast weather enhances the feel of the ruin, but I agree that Bodiam against a pale blue sky would be breathtaking.
