We get this compleeeetly! The aesthetic of some platforms out there is a real assault on the senses. We'd personally love to be active on Mastodon and Blusky but we'd need special magic goggles that hide the interface clutter and timeline trash. The filters and feed customizations on Blusky are a good idea but in practice they require an obscene amount of effort and the feed is still 75% spam.

@Xover0 Yeeeeeees! Like don't get me wrong - here definitely has some pros. It's easy to follow text threads. Alt text works. You're more connected and aware of what's happening. You can see reposts etc. Cons - you're more connected and aware of what's happening and there's a lot happening all the time and it's hard to keep up with anything 😂. The UI of Pixelfed is so much more accessible and aesthetically pleasing! It just needs some GD fixes!! 😭
