So far, the changes to the markdown screens has definitely helped out with the editor being laggy. Also, this is a fairly large Markdown file with a ton of information in it. I'm debating adding another screen for just spells, but already very useful. The links all work, the navigation tree on the left also works. #python #pathfinder2e #tui #ttrpg

This is a super interesting project. What made you want to make a terminal based #p2e character sheet? How do you update this thing? Does it just pull data from Archives of Nethys and the like? I've started a Foundry VTT campaign for Abomination Vaults with some friends, and I'd love to have their character sheets stacked up in my terminal like this for quick reference. Foundry does a good job, but it wastes a lot of space where the terminal would show the info right away.

@Wanderingwolf So, I've done a lot of character sheet stuff in Pathfinder. Been making pencil + paper sheets since 1E and I've slowly come to realize what works for me. Pencil + paper is still my favorite, but I wanted a smaller footprint, very fast to get to the information I need, and a simple layout.

This is the second attempt at a PF character sheet via TUI. The first one didn't go so well because I didn't really have the chops to write it. This one was triggered from using PDFs on an iPad: it's slow, gotta scroll through pages, overall not the best experience.

The goal: fast, simple, and has no real requirements other than Python and a terminal window. Hotkeys to quickly get to the information, the ability to embed links that actually work, and everything must be fast which I've mostly hit. Still have a few issues that I need to work through...lol
