@SF_Photographer I wanted to but the fences were closed off and the tarps blocked the view of the pit yesterday afternoon. There's a good, I don't know, maybe three-story deep hole in the ground right now.

@SF_Photographer Not surprised. They are suspicious and nervous about reasons. But legally you can shoot anything you want if you're on the public sidewalk as long as you are not interfering with their work or access to the site.
