@RiversideBryan The first time I ID’ed one, it had caught my attention in an artificial lake in Florida. I thought there was a snake moving evenly through the water, somehow sticking up vertically in the air. It moved towards me and as the water became shallower, the rest of the anhinga’s body rose beneath its long neck, eventually walking right out of the lake. Crazy birb!!
