Lots to think about and some grieving to do. Last night I lost my nephew. My two sisters and I each gave birth to a daughter followed by a son. Now only one of the three sons is left. My heart is broken. In the end he didn't reach out to me. I expect he already knew what I would tell him. His mother, my oldest sister, has been gone for years, and he never stopped missing her. She was not replaceable even when I tried. I wish life was easier. I do believe that my belief system and certainty that circumstances can be turned around and that I never give up works for me but not for everyone. I know that he knew I loved him. Our world is short one kind human and we do need more kind humans not less.
