Not trying to make it heavy in here but for #footpathfriday I wanted to share this stretch of path from one of the “Trail of Tears”. According to the signs, this is one of the best preserved stretches of the Trail of Tears and it was a sobering and reflective experience to think about all of those Natives who were forcibly removed from their homes and land.
