Visible mending I was thinking these socks were through but then I decided to try a technique I've seen recently: adding an actual patch. I picked up stitches below the whole damaged area, a few stitches wider than the damage. I knit enough rows to cover everything, then grafted the live stitches at the top and sewed the sides down. On the inside I got away the worst damage and then wove loosely over the whole to fix the sides. @fiberarts #visiblemending #solarpunk #fiberarts
