I've joked about how iNaturalist is like #PokemonGo for real animals. Well, since I started playing the game, I've been combining walks for both. And on today's hike in the local #BotanicalGardens, I took some photos with a few #Pokemon in their, um, natural habitats?

(Still not sure why I found so many Electrobuzzes in the *botanical gardens*, though.)

@KelsonV It was probably a nest pokémon... gardens, graveyards, & parks tend to have "nests" which rotate through different pokémon types that tend to show up for 2(?) or so weeks.

My first Electrobuzz nest was a walking & native plant preserve that in a previous life was a sewer treatment plant that got turned into a park! :D

@Harena@toot.cat Makes sense. This actually used to be a landfill, though it's been decades
