I can normally spot them away from leaves like this one and recognize the shape and legs but there’s no telling how many I didn’t see. Praying mantises are also hard to spot sometimes because they move so slow and have legs and arms that can look like twigs in the bushes they live in. Jumping spiders are smart and try to stay on the opposite side of branches if they see you. (Kind of like how squirrels try to stay on the other side of trees if they are shy)
