Went out for a morning garden walk with my #Canon dSLR and found the cherries are ready for picking. Headed out now with a basket.Not sure what variety they are, but they taste good, that's all that really matters. We didn't plant the tree, it was already here and usually only produces a few cherries. This year it is LOADED with them.Just have to get them before the birds and squirrels munch them down.#nature #gardening #treefruit #photography

@FlashF1R3 Oh, blackberries. I live on the wet side of the Cascades in Oregon so we know blackberries. It is a constant WAR keeping them from taking over our yard. One area was solid with them, and last year my wife spent HOURS digging up the root balls. She's now repurposed that area as a ver nice garden "room" with the Arbor I built as the entrance.
