This article has it all wrong.https://sherwood.news/business/etsy-has-erased-its-pandemic-era-gains-ebay-still-looks-strong/What Etsy did was break its own model to allow numerous "shops" selling the same factory made crap onto a site that was supposed to be only for artisans & hand-crafted items. Why? Greed. More "stuff," more clicks, they thought. And many artisans and a lot of customers voted with their...keyboards, and went elsewhere. BTW: One alternative is the Artisans Cooperative: https://artisans.coop/#ArtisansCoop #Etsy #Ebay #Crafts #Handmade

I've never heard of Artisan's Cooperative. I'll have to check them out ๐! And I'm very glad I never opened a shop on Etsy ๐ . I regularly hear negative feedback about them, and it really sounds like they do NOT care about their vendors... I'm so glad there are finally alternatives ๐ฎโ๐จ. Not too long ago I joined My Community Made and goimagine and am hopeful they'll take off now that more people are realizing Etsy isn't the best option ๐.
