sarahsartistI'm slowly transitioning all of my shared work from the other app over to Pixelfed, which is quickly becoming my favourite place to share my art. Not posting or creating with the looming wonder of how an algorithm will treat my work — or, even worse, creating work to appease an algorithm — has been exceptionally freeing.
This is another mixed media drawing portrait that I made a couple years back, using an old photobooth portrait from the 1930s-1940s. My mediums of choice are graphite pencil, watersoluble graphite, metallic watercolours, oil-based metallic markers, and ink.
