Looking across the train tracks of the raised metro of Paris we see commuters descending the stairs into pale florescent yellow light while the sky above them ignites in bright yellows, pastel oranges, and the last grips of light blues before the darkness descends. A big pink visage has been scrawled on the metro station wall above the staircase and it gives a goofy grin and side-eye to oncoming trains.
