Storybook Art: CHICKEN LITTLE This is an illustration that I created for the 2012 Tomie dePalo Award competition, from the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. Colorful drawing illustrating a passage in the classic story, "Chicken Little". It depicts on the left 3 distressed fowl: a rooster, chicken and duck. They are holding tiny umbrellas and staring down the road at a little yellow chick, desperately telling goose and turkey about the sky falling down and the inevitable end of the world. NOTE: This description created especially for my lovely blind friend, Georgiana. :-)
