etherealelysiumOk, I actually read Gothikana because even though I‘ve only heard mixed things about it I am still a sucker for dark academia / gothic settings. And I thought that maybe its not as bad as some reviews say. Also… it has a nice cover. But holy plothole-heaven. This book is really amazing in not explaning many things happening and some characters react in ways that are just off. The romance part for me sometimes felt kinda predator-ish, but maybe something got lost in translation, as I was reading the german version. But still…
