dedphotoworks For this #monochromemonday post: Building 93 at the former Kings Park Psychiatric Center, a defunct New York State-run psychiatric hospital on the North Shore of Long Island that was open from 1885-1996. This particular building was a patient ward building, 13 stories tall, and built from 1939-1940, and opened to patients in 1941. It was vacated for good in 1992, a few years ahead of the complete closure of the hospital campus but by then, only the first four floors were actually being used.
