camerastoriesSports photography isn’t really my thing, but as a birthday surprise a friend of mine took me to Rad Race, a fixed gear bike craze at the Neukölln kart track. Probably needless to say that proper techno was blasting from the speakers, and the vibes were amazing. As someone who rode a fixie for years, it was a huge throwback, and the culture is still amazing. I had no idea where we were going, but I’m super happy that I decided to take my camera, even if I only had one small lens, that was definitely not perfect for the occasion. Still, amazing night, and only mild hangover. And of course, congrats to Alec Briggs (1st photo) for winning the men’s race, and to Chelsea Wolf (5th photo) for being the last woman standing!
