With a background of slightly out of focus trees branches, light shining in from the left, two collared doves sit on a tree branch. They have tucked themselves so close their little tummies are overhanging part of the branch. The male to the right has his chest puffed up with his head slightly turning left giving a side-eye look; the female is almost touching him and looking far more relaxed. She has her head turned slightly to the right so the start of the black band towards the back of her neck is visible. They stayed in the same position for over two hours.
